DHS Student Information Day, Mon. August 15th from 9am to 1pm. Student may come to pick up Chromebook, schedule, parking permit, yearbook, Jostens Letterman jacket, and pay for class dues and/or pay fines, including lost calculators. Your registration must be complete before you will be able to pick up your schedule. Thank you.

School supply lists have been posted for Infant - 8th Grade here https://www.dimmittisd.net/page/school-supplies Grades 9-12 will receive supply lists on the first day of school , August 17, 2022.

Richardson Elementary (K-5) and First Steps (infant-age 4) invite students and parents to come meet their teachers for the the 2022-23 school year on Monday, August 15 from 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.

Amarillo College Dual Credit Students and Parents, Dual Credit Reimbursement forms have been emailed to students or you may complete the Google form on the DISD website. Remember you must include a digital file of your "unofficial transcript" that can be found in your AC Connect account. The deadline for the application for reimbursement is May 31st. SurgePhone Wireless is offering a free tablet with internet service with a one time activation fee of $15 for qualified individuals. May 12-15, 2022 from 9:00-5:00 at Panhandle Community Services located at 108 SW 2nd St in Dimmitt. See photos for qualification guidelines.

DHS Athlete Msg: Physical Exams for all current high school students planning on joining band or athletics will be held MAY 11TH. Students have received a flyer with all necessary information and a QR code to complete the physicals packet online. Please have the physical packet completed by MAY 9th. Students who are testing need to BRING Chromebooks with chargers, and be at school by 8:00 a.m. for breakfast. Please ensure they eat a healthy supper and get a good night's sleep tonight. Freshman need to be at the activity center at 9:00 a.m. for their Fitness Gram. Lunch will be served at 12:00pm and classes for all students will resume at 12:30pm.

DHS Msg: Reminder - DHS Athletic Banquet is TONIGHT in the cafetorium @ 6pm. Athletes eat for free. Parent/siblings may eat brisket dinner at $15.00 each. Meal Tickets available at the door. Parent/siblings do not have to purchase a plate to attend the banquet. See you tonight!

Tankersley Tuxedo will be @ DHS, tomorrow, Thursday, April 14th during breakfast/tutorials for prom tuxedo fittings. No payment needed at fitting. They will bring and pickup tuxedos for prom. Prom is on May 7th. A parent may come to help their student pick out their tuxedo.
