A DISD K-12 Gifted/Talented Awareness Meeting will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. in the Richardson Elementary School Library.
The meeting will provide an overview of the DISD K-12 Gifted/Talented Program and explain the referral process and the assessment procedures. The G/T Program is designed for a student who performs at or shows the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same age and who exhibits high-performance capability in general intellectual ability or excels in a specific academic field. To refer a student, please request a G/T referral packet from the campus office (RES, DMS, DHS), or the G/T referral documents can be found at www.dimmittisd.net. The deadline for referrals is December 15, 2021.
