Dear 7th/8th grade parents, Drop off for 7th and 8th grade students will be in the southeast parking lot between the middle school cafeteria and the activity center. Students will enter through the southeast door and go into the cafeteria. The doors will not be open until 7:35. Pickup for 7th and 8th grade students will be in the west parking lot at 3:45. Please do not park in the visitor parking after school unless you are coming inside the building. Chromebook AUP agreement form was sent home today with your child. Please make sure you both sign and your child brings back their form tomorrow. We need these by Friday along with their $30 Chromebook fee. Students will not be allowed to get their chromebook until we have those. If you have any questions please contact the front office @806-647-3108.

Parents if you have not yet registered your child for middle school you can still make it in to our office today before 6 pm or tomorrow before lunch. School supply lists have been posted for Infant - 8th Grade here https://www.dimmittisd.net/page/school-supplies Grades 9-12 will receive supply lists on the first day of school , August 17, 2022.

Students will be released at 1:00 this afternoon. Los estudiantes saldrán a la 1:00 de esta tarde.

Congratulations 8th Graders! We will have our annual 8th grade parade on the evening of the 18th. We are asking for students to line up in the west parking lot at DMS starting at 5:30.The parade will start at 6:00. I have attached a map of the parade route. The Valedictorian and Salutatorian will be the 1st and 2nd cars behind Officer Porter. Everyone else will line up behind them. We will have volunteers helping you get lined up. Please remain in your vehicle at all times. You are encouraged to decorate your vehicle for the parade. You are welcome to ride in the back of a pickup, but no trailers will be allowed. Your family and the community are welcome to park their cars anywhere along the route to watch the Parade. You will not be allowed to throw anything during the parade as this is for the safety of everyone involved. When the parade is over you will need to all go your separate ways as you will not be allowed to congregate on school property. Promotion will be held on Thursday, May 19th at 10:00 am in the DMS auditorium. We are very proud of all the students' accomplishments and hope to see you at both events. Students have received a flyer with all necessary information and a QR code to complete the physicals packet online. Please have the physical packet completed by APRIL 25th. The EPIC 7th grade trip (Step Up to Success career fair) will be on 3/30/2022. The busses will be leaving at 7:30 am. Students will need to be here at 7:15 am.

Cheer Tryouts for 8th Grade girls going in to high school will be held on 4/1/2022

Class pictures will be taken on Tuesday March 29, 2022. Please dress appropriately.
