This is a message from Dimmitt High School. On Tuesday, March 1st, a playoff is game scheduled at Dimmitt High School. The mandatory 8th grade parent meeting to discuss your child's high school plan of study has been moved to the middle school auditorium at 6:00 p.m. Thank you, Mrs. Birkenfeld

The Junior High boys track meet at Muleshoe 2-24-22 has been canceled. JH girls will still run. Boys track practice today, tomorrow, and Friday has been cancelled. The High School boys track meet at Muleshoe 2-25-22 has also been cancelled. Girls will still run.

This is a message from DMS: Tomorrow is picture retake day. Sports that will be included will be basketball and track. DMS Yearbook is selling spirit buttons for student athletes for the track season. Buttons are $7. Students can bring their money and order form. Contact Mrs. Neinast if you have any questions.

On Monday to kick off Random Acts of Kindness week DMS Staff would like to hand out cookies after school to parents to thank them for all that they do. DMS Commit to Kindness week 2/21-2/25

Dimmitt ISD Transportation Department will hold a closed bid auction February 1-15, 2022. To place a bid or view the available vehicles and buses, stop by the Transportation Department Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

All classes at Dimmitt ISD have been canceled today (Thursday, February 3) due to the weather. Please stay safe and warm!

Nothing Bundt Cakes fundraiser ends tomorrow. ALL money and order sheets will be due at the beginning of school tomorrow 2/3/22.

7th and 8th boys last basketball game of the season against Friona has been canceled by Friona. Girls Basketball game is still scheduled to be played on Feb. 7th.

DMS Attendance School is scheduled for 1/28/22 from 4PM-7PM. Students who are required to come will receive their letter today. An additional copy is also being mailed home today. Please return the forms signed to the front office by 1/27/22.

DMS Family Engagement Event scheduled for 1/27/22 has been postponed to a later date in February. Will make further announcements on the reschedule date.

Nothing Bundt Cakes fundraiser paperwork was given to students Thursday afternoon. The fundraiser will be ran for all grade levels from January 24th to February 2nd order forms are to be turned in with their money to Mrs. Sullivan on February 3rd.

DMS students will take their NWEA Benchmark test on Wednesday and Thursday. Please remember, NWEA is similar to a practice STAAR test. We highly encourage your child is in attendance so they can participate.

Dimmitt Middle School will participate in a "Glow Math Day" on Tuesday 1/4/21. Students are encouraged to wear a neon shirt and a concession stand will be available.

Panhandle Community Services is partnering with Rhoades Memorial Library to help uninsured individuals get coverage through Marketplace Health Insurance. See the flyer for more information.
